Fabian Brunnstrom may be a trading chip for the Dallas Stars as they are looking to add a puck-moving defenceman to quarterback their powerplay. James Neal and Loui Eriksson don’t appear to be going anywhere.
At yesterday’s Washington Capitals practice, Alex Ovechkin had some new linemates, Brendan Morrison and Mike Knuble. The 2nd line featured Backstrom, Semin and Laich. I’m sure the big 3 would play together on the powerplay. Mike Knuble and Brooks Laich fantasy owners might be happy with these line combos.
Is Cristobal Huet on shaky ground in Chicago? If he doesn’t start playing better, the ‘Hawks may have to look at their options with him. They attempted to trade him last year, but were obviously not successful.
