The likelihood of some New York Rangers being moved or not

NHL Rumour Report: Frank Seravalli on Frankly Hockey on the New York Rangers trade rumors: “It’s probably not gonna be (Mika) Zibanejad, (J.T.) Miller doesn’t have any interest in moving; (Alexis) Lafreniere is a bit of a longshot; that puts us squarely looking at (Vincent) Trocheck; he might be more valuable than (Artemi) Panarin.”

Teams that have shown interest in Artemi Panarin so far are …

Kevin Weekes: Sources said that as of Thursday, the list of teams who have shown some interest in New York Rangers forward Artemi Panarin include the Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Kings, San Jose Sharks, Vegas Golden Knights, Dallas Stars, Utah Mammoth, Colorado Avalanche, Minnesota Wild, Seattle Kraken, Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes, Washington Captials, Tampa Bay Lightning, and the New York Islanders.

There will be more teams that inquire. Panarin has a no-movement clause, so he has to approve any trade.

NHL Rumors: What is next for the Calgary Flames?

Five potential destinations for New York Rangers center Vincent Trocheck

Lyle Richardson of Bleacher Report: The 32-year-old Vincent Trocheck has three years left on his contract with the New York Rangers at a $5.6 million salary cap hit. He’s got a 12-team no-trade list. He’ll definitely interest teams who are looking for a second-line center and someone with term.

Five potential landing spots for Trocheck.

Carolina Hurricanes – Played a season and a half with the Hurricanes before signing as a free agent with the Rangers. They’ve got the cap space, are not afraid to make a big move. Could offer up Bradly Nadeau or winger Felix Unger Sörum.

Colorado Avalanche – Have kicked tires on Nazem Kadri, according to Darren Dreger, and Trocheck would be younger and cheaper (salary) than Kadri. Can offer a 2027 first or one of their two seconds. The Rangers may be interested in someone like Gavin Brindley.

Detroit Red Wings – Could be looking for a second-line center, and they have the cap room and assets. The Rangers might have interest in prospect center Nate Danielson, or wingers Michael Brandsegg-Nygård, or Carter Bear.

Los Angeles Kings – In the playoff hunt, and will be losing Anze Kopitar after the season to retirement. Could offer one of their second and third-round pick this year, and the Rangers may be interested in Liam Greentree or Henry Brzustewicz.

NHL Rumors: Minnesota Wild, and the Ottawa Senators

Minnesota Wild – Looking for a second-line, and he may be a prime target, according to Michael Russo and Joe Smith. The Rangers may be intrigued by having Jesper Wallstedt as a backup or they may prefer a forward like Danila Yurov or Charlie Stramel.
