No contract extension talks with Trevor Zegras yet, but he hopes to remain with the Philadelphia Flyers
Kevin Kurz of The Athletic: The Philadelphia Flyers have forward Travis Konecny already locked up long-term. GM Daniel Briere recently locked up Christian Dvorak for five years. Talks with pending RFA Trevor Zegras haven’t started yet according to Briere.
“I certainly hope it helps. Trevor is another reason why we’ve taken a step. So, we’ll see. We haven’t started discussing anything with Trevor but he’s restricted, so we have a little bit more, I guess, power on that front. But we want to keep him here. It’s been working out. Hopefully he keeps playing the way he has. He’s been impressive this year.”
Zegras said he’s hopeful that something can be worked out.

“I mean, I can only hope. Some of this contract stuff in the past has been tough. Obviously, the last contract I went through was a little hairy. So I try not to put expectations on it, or anything like that. If they want me here for a long time, I would love that.”
The St. Louis Blues are listening on almost everyone, and who is interested
The Fourth Period: St. Louis Blues GM Doug Armstrong has been aggressively trying to make some moves. Sources say they are listening to calls on almost anyone, including defenseman Colton Parayko, and forwards Robert Thomas and Jordan Kyrou. The asking price on those three is obviously really high. All three have full no-trade clauses.
Also getting interest are forwards Brayden Schenn and Pius Suter, and defenseman Justin Faulk. All three have a year left on their contracts. Schenn and Faulk have 15-team no-trade lists.
It’s believed the Montreal Canadiens, New Jersey Devils, Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes and Washington Capitals have shown some interest in Schenn.

Pending UFA forwards Oskar Sundqvist and Mathieu Joseph could be moved by the trade deadline.
