On Free Agent Goaltenders …
Pierre LeBrun: Things can always change between now and the start of free agency, but it’s looking like Carter Hutton to the Buffalo Sabres, Jonathan Bernier likely going to the Detroit Red Wings and Cam Ward to the Chicago Blackhawks.
Andy Graziano: (adding to LeBrun’s tweet) No mention of the New York Islanders. Wonder if Islanders GM Lou Lamoriello would have to circle back to the Ottawa Senators (Craig Anderson) or Detroit Red Wings (Jimmy Howard) to patch their hole in net.
Howard WGR: Craig Custance reporting that Carter Hutton was in Buffalo yesterday and is narrowing down his teams.

The Blackhawks have reached out to Jonathan Bernier, Carter Hutton and Cam Ward. Hutton is expected to sign elsewhere leaving Bernier and Ward as options. They likely won’t want to sign any goaltender for longer than a year or two.
