The New Jersey Devils are playing the Colorado Avalanche Friday night, and Taylor Hall is not playing

10:43 PM: Andy Graziano: “It seems Hall is headed somewhere and soon. Be a shocker, to me, if he stayed in the East.”

10:42 PM: Adrian Dater of Colorado Hockey Now: “If the Avs are on the verge of some big Taylor Hall trade – or already have made one – then all of their top management personnel are very good actors. Or, maybe he’s just going to another team. None of the media types around the Devils – team broadcasters, etc. – seemed to have any idea what’s going on with Hall.”

10:27 PM: Greg Wyshynski: Avs broadcaster Peter McNab: “Taylor Hall’s bag is by itself in the corridor.”

9:37 PM: Pierre LeBrun: “I’m told Taylor Hall has not been dealt at this point, however, there is some traction in trade talks the Devils are having with teams and so the risk is not worth playing him play at the moment. Stay tuned.”

9:34 PM: Adrian Dater: “The Colorado Eagles are playing right now too, up the road in Loveland. There were no late scratches of any top players there, i.e. Timmins, etc.”

9:15 PM: TSN: Hall was on the ice for the pre-game warmup, but then the Devils decided to hold him out. A team spokesperson told reporters that a trade is not imminent.

9:14 PM: Adrian Dater: “If the Avs have any kind of deal for Taylor Hall, they sure aren’t acting like it. Personnel who I would think would be scrambling around right now are perfectly serene, watching the game”

9:04 PM: Adrian Dater: “Avs indicating there is NO deal for Hall at the moment”

9:01 PM: New Jersey Devils: The Devils have held forward Taylor Hall out of tonight’s game for “precautionary reasons.”
