There would be a lot of teams interested in Josh Ho-Sang if the New York Islanders decided to trade him.
Teams would be interested in Ho-Sang if the Islanders made him available

Brett Cyrgalis of the NY Post: New York Islanders prospec Edit date and timet Josh Ho-Sang won’t say that being buried in the minors is unfair, but he thinks new management had made up their minds this offseason as to what the team was going to look like. Ho-Sang didn’t get a lot of preseason action.

“They tell me they want me to be a top-six forward up there, but I’m not a top-six forward down here, so it’s confusing,” he said. “Sometimes, it’s like you’re sprinting with a rubber band on. You constantly have tension. You run until you’re exhausted and then the band is going to pull you back. If I was going to say anything, it would be just watch. I’m just pointing it out.”

For Hartford Ho-Sang has only four assists in nine games and is a minus eight.

Chris Nichols of Nichols on Hockey: Elliotte Friedman was on Sportsnet 650 yesterday and was asked about New York Islanders forward Josh Ho-Sang and if there would be teams that are interested in trading for him.

Friedman says he believes there would be teams interested but it would depend on the price to acquire him.

“I think there’s a lot of teams in the NHL that would be happy to trade for a guy who is talented and would be kind of a devalued asset on his second team, as long as the price wasn’t too high.

“I mean, how many guys – you’ve got the patron saint of finding it with his second team, that’s Taylor Hall, and then there’s other guys who haven’t. But you’re really happy to take a chance, aren’t you.”

Friedman adds that there would some teams that wouldn’t be interested in adding someone like Ho-Sang, but would be a lot who would be.
