Kypreos: “On my first Real Kipper trade board on sportsnet.ca, I do have one Toronto Maple Leaf, (Brandon) Carlo on it. Of course, plenty of speculation on what they can do with (Nick) Robertson or (Max) Domi or anybody else.
But Carlo, to me, is still a very attractive piece for other teams.”
Justin Bourne: “Let me, let me read a little something here. There’s a strong suggestion Toronto – Buffalo, we’re in talks over having Carlo involved in a JJ Peterka trade, and then moving Carlo towards a Carlo for Bowen Byram type trade over the summer. Bowen Byram. Oh, would that have been a nice change of pace around here? What happened?”

Bourne: “It just would have been nice to have a different look, an offensive …”
Kypreos: “Okay, I’ll tell you what it would have done, it would have alleviated some pressure off Morgan Rielly, that’s what Byram would have done, right?”
Bourne: “Slotted him much better, right? Put it him in a …”
Kypreos: “Or, or eventually, for you back to Morgan Rielly and say, buddy, it’s been well over 10 years, how about a fresh start somewhere else? It’s just not working here.”
