TSN: The Winnipeg Jets are focusing on winning and not any trade speculation, according to Darren Dreger.
“What I can tell you is that if we’re relating speculation for Seattle and Winnipeg, there’s been no conversation between those two clubs about the potential availability of Shane Wright. Now, maybe that changes down the road.”
If they Jets go into sell mode, pending UFA defenseman Logan Stanley would generate some interest, and by moving him, increase their odds of a better pick. There have been no extension talks to date between the Jets and Stanley.
