NHL Suspensions: Rangers Daniel Carcillo and Canadiens Brandon Prust Suspended

Katie Strang: Rangers Daniel Carcillo received an automatic 10-game suspension for abuse of an official.
Canadiens Brandon Prust has been suspended for two games for interference.
Tom Gulitti: Prust’s hit was 0.9 seconds late. Any hit up to 0.6 seconds is considered late by the NHL.
Darren Dreger: The doctors had cleared Derek Stepan to play on Thursday night, but yesterday morning it was determined that he required surgery for a broken jaw. There is no timetable for his return.
