The Detroit Red Wings traded winger Tomas Jurco to the Chicago Blackhawks for a 2017 3rd round pick.
The 24-year old Jurco was drafted 35th overall in the 2nd round of the 2011 draft by the Red Wings. He carries a $900,000 cap hit.
Jurco will be a restricted free agent at the end of the season.
