The Anaheim Ducks have traded defenseman Nick Boynton to the Chicago Blackhawks for future considerations. Boynton was immediately assigned to their AHL club, the Rockford IceHogs.
The 31 year old Boynton will give the the Hawks some added depth. In 42 games with the Ducks, he recorded 7 points and 59 penalty minutes.
