Canadiens re-sign a defenseman

Stu Cowan: The Montreal Canadiens have re-signed defenseman Brett Kulak to a three-year contract with an AAV of $1.85 million.

A nice raise for Kulak who was coming off a $656,000 deal.

2019-20 $1.95 million
2020-21 $1.4 million
2021-22 $2.2 million

Jets lock up a goaltender

Winnipeg Jets: The Jets have re-signed goaltender Laurent Brossoit for one-year at $1.225 million.

The 26-year old Brossoit had a 13-6-2 record with a 2.52 GAA and a .925 save percentage.
