Buffalo Sabres: The Sabres have signed Johan Larsson to a one-year contract with a $1.55 million AAV.
Canadiens lock up Armia for two-years
Montreal Canadiens: The Canadiens have signed forward Joel Armia to a two-year contract with an AAV of $2.6 million.
The 26-year old Armia set a career high with 13 goals last season.
Flyers avoid arbitration with Laughton
NHL.com: The Philadelphia Flyers have avoided salary arbitration with forward Scott Laughton and have signed him a two a two-year deal worth $4.6 million – an AAV of $2.3 million.
Laughton had career highs in goals with 12, assists with 20 and points at 32.
Blues trade for one, sign three
Cap Friendly: The St. Louis Blues have signed restricted free agent forward Robby Fabbri to a one-year deal with a salary cap hit of $900,000.
He’ll be a restricted free agent after next season.
Cap Friendly: The Blues have signed restricted free agent defenseman Mitch Reinke to a one-year contract.
He’ll have a $750,000 salary in the NHL and $100,000 in the minors. Reinke will be an RFA after next season.
Dhiren Mahiban: The Toronto Maple Leafs have traded Dakota Joshua to the St. Louis Blues for future considerations.
Cap Friendly: The St. Louis Blues have signed Joshua to a two-year entry-level contract. He’ll have a $792,500 salary cap hit but a $925,000 AAV.
Joshua will have a base salary of $700,000 with signing bonuses of $92,500 and up to $132,500 in performance bonuses.
Capitals sign their first-round pick
Washington Capitals: The Capitals have signed 2019 first-round draft pick Connor McMichael to a three-year entry-level deal.
Voynov signs in the KHL
Igor Eronko: Avangard of the KHL have signed defenseman Slava Voynov to one-year deal worth $1.1 million.
Aivis Kalnins: Have been told that Voynov will be on a short leash and that coach Bob Hartly wants to keep him disciplined. If he makes one mistake he could be done.
