Senators re-sign Nilsson and have a goalie logjam
TSN 1200: The Ottawa Senators have signed goaltender Anders Nilsson to a two-year contract with an AAV of $2.6 million. He’ll get $2.8 million next season and $2.4 million in 2020-21.
Shawn Simpson: Next season the Senators have $9.8 million committed in net – Craig Anderson at $4 million, Mike Condon at $3 million and now Nilsson at $2.8 million.
Shawn Simpson: The Senators also have goaltenders Marcus Hogberg (RFA) and Filip Gustavsson, who will be in the AHL next year.
Shawn Simpson: The money given to Nilsson is a little surprising. Could Condon go on the LTIR or bought out?
