Mike Heika: Stars Antoine Roussel was not suspended for his ‘sucker punch,’ only fined, $5,376.34, the maximum allowable amount under the CBA.
Tom Gulitti: Devils Martin Havlat said he’s out for tonight, but is hoping to play tomorrow.
Ted Kulfan: Red Wings Pavel Datsyuk and Stephen Weise (both groin issues) are practicing today. They have four days between games.
Mike Heika: Stars Alex Goligoski had a maintenance day today as he deals with a nagging injury. He should be in the lineup tomorrow.
Mark Stepneski: Stars Cody Eakin (upper-body) was on the ice before practice today and could play tomorrow. If he can’t go tomorrow, he should be ready for Thursday.
Chuck Gormley: Brooks Laich (upper-body) and Tom Wilson (lower-body) didn’t practice today.
Mark Divver: Torey Krug and Kevan Miller skated at their optional practice this morning. David Krejci and Loui Eriksson did not skate.
Aaron Portzline: Blue Jackets Jack Skille and Fedor Tyutin are question for tomorrow night.
Jon Rosen: Jamie McBain is no longer on a PTO with Manchester of the AHL. He’s unsigned, but practicing with the Kings this morning.

Michael Smith: Hurricanes lines: Skinner-E. Staal-Semin Gerbe-Nash-Lindholm Terry-Rask-Tlusty/Malone Boychuk-McClement-Dwyer. Defensive pairings: Sekera-Faulk Harrison-Gleason Liles-Hainsey with Jordan rotating in.
Rich Chere: It will be Cory Schneider and the Devils against Tuukka Rask and the Bruins.
Lou Korac: Brian Elliott will be in net against the Sabres.
