Joanne Ireland: The Oilers have sent defenseman Denis Grebeshkov to the AHL on a conditioning assignment and recalled Philip Larsen. They have also re-assigned Brandon Davidson.
Corey Pronman: The Maple Leafs re-assign T.J. Brennan to the AHL.
Ansar Khan: The Red Wings assign Cory Emmerton and Petr Mrazek to the AHL. Jonas Gustavsson is ready to return to the lineup. Drew Miller, Jordin Tootoo, Darren Helm and Patrick Eaves have been rotating in on the fourth line. Eaves and Helm are on the LTIR. The Wings have recalledLuke Glendening from the AHL to center the fourth line.
Ansar Khan: Red Wings Justin Abdelkader has been moved off the top line and on to the second, coach Mike Babcock said the line needed a boost.
Mike Vogel: The Capitals have re-assigned Connor Carrick and Michael Latta to the AHL. Defenseman Nate Schmidt has been recalled.
Arthur Staple: Islanders Matt Moulson will be a game-time decision as he’s heading back after the birth of his son this morning. Cal Cutterbuck is in.
Adrian Dater: The Avalanche have put Matt Hunwick on waivers.
Aaron Portzline: Blue Jackets defenseman Tim Erixon was sent to the AHL as “He needs to play games,” according to GM Jarmo Kekalainen.
