Corey Pronman: The Maple Leafs send Trevor Smith to the AHL.

Chris Nichols: The Leafs sign Jerred Smithson. Smithson had been on a PTO.

David Strehle: The Flyers recall Kris Newbury and send Tye McGinn to the AHL.
