The Daily Herald out of Chicago mentions that the Maple Leafs and Blackhawks GM’s might be discussing a trade. The Hawks might be looking for a Dman, while the Leafs would like to move a Dman for a scoring forward. The article mentions Tomas Kaberle and Patrick Sharp. Both have similar cap hits.
The New Jersey Devils might be looking to add free agent and one time Devil, Brendan Morrison. The Devils still need to sign RFA, Travis Zajac, who has filed for salary arbitration.
The Columbus Blue Jackets are looking for a puck moving defenceman. The Sharks, Leafs, and Oilers have some Dmen who might fit the bill.
