Chip Alexander via twitter: Hearing the Hurricanes have made offers for both Zach Parise and Ryan Suter. Hurricanes GM Jim Rutherford said if they don’t get Parise, they’re “back in the trade market right away.”

Ansar Khan via twitter: The Red Wings hope to be able to meet with Ryan Suter on Monday face-to-face. If he wants to meet in person has yet to be seen.

Bob McKenzie via twitter: Expect Ryan Suter to get a 10 year deal with an average of $7 million plus, with $28 million in the 1st 2 years.

Pierre LeBrun via twitter: Told the Red Wings are no longer going to visit the Newport offices to visit Parise.

Bucky Gleason via twitter: The Sabres are interested in trading for Bobby Ryan if the price is right. Ryan wants to play with a team with a true #1 center. Flyers may be more likely.

David Pagnotta via twitter: The Oilers are looking to sign a defenseman, but also looking at the trade front.

Craig Custance via twitter: Strong interest for George Parros, already a few offers on the table.

Andy Strickland via True Hockey: The Blues have interest in Matt Carle. Other Dmen options could be Jason Garrison, Filip Kuba, Bryce Salvador and Carlo Colaiacovo. On the trade side of things, Jay Bouwmeester, Keith Yandle and Paul Martin.
