On the Kings …
Scratch Kings off Paul Martin's list

LA set up front, all in on adding a legit 2nd pair D https://t.co/vBDTbUt0Ne

I haven't heard anything about players not wanting to come to LA. Think it is purely finances. https://t.co/veGSHNFrzB

Following @DennisTFP report, I too haven't heard LA in on Franson. Told Leafs, Jackets, Flames, Sharks, Oilers, among others, have inquired.

#LAKings are looking for a second-pairing D to play with Brayden McNabb. Other wish list item is a backup goalie. Me, I'd roll with Berube.

As mentioned previously #LAKings fans, set your expectations accordingly… don't look for DL to ink Oduya, Martin, or other "big name" on D

On the Kings, Canucks and Bieksa …
Told the LA Kings went beyond kicking tires on a trade conversation with the Canucks on Kevin Bieksa at the draft last week (con't)…
— Pierre LeBrun (@Real_ESPNLeBrun) July 1, 2015
But at the time, Canucks focused on doing deal with Sharks and then Kings did Lucic deal with Bruins, which negated any chance to get Bieksa
— Pierre LeBrun (@Real_ESPNLeBrun) July 1, 2015
So Canucks end up with the third California team, Anaheim, on a Bieksa deal and everyone goes home happy !

On the Canucks …
Been told that #Canucks ufa Brad Richardson is hitting the market tomorrow. There will be no last minute deal with Vancouver.

On the Sharks …
Be it via trade or free agency, the San Jose Sharks plan on adding a defenseman. They're working both angles.
