Rumors II: Bruins, Senators and Lightning

Loui Eriksson

On the Boston Bruins …

On the Ottawa Senators …

On the Tampa Bay Lightning …

Platinum Seat Ghosts: Elliotte Friedman on Steven Stamkos: “I think Tampa made him an offer. I think the offer starts with an 8.” Friedman added that it was neither accepted or rejected. On the offer: “The offer wasn’t good enough to get it done, but it was good enough to get it started.”

TSN Radio Vancouver: Bob McKenzie said that the Lightning don’t have to trade Jonathan Drouin, and with them playing well, there might be less incentive to trade him. McKenzie added that “at least half a dozen” teams have made significant offers.

Mike Kelly: Both Jonathan Drouin and Victor Hedman are both represented by Octagon Hockey, but they have different agents. The Drouin situation will have no impact on future Hedman talks.
