The Ottawa Senators have traded goalie Brian Elliott to the Colorado Avalanche for goalie Craig Anderson.

So the Senators, who are in rebuild mode, trade for a veteran goalie who’ll be a UFA at the end of the season. The Sens currently sit 1 point out of the league basement and potentially the 1st overall pick.
