- Josh Rimer: The Blackhawks sign defenseman Nick Leddy for 2 years and $5.4 million.
- Ken Wiebe: The Jets have re-signed Al Montoya.
- Michael Russo: Tom Gilbert cleared unconditional waivers and will be bought out by the Wild. All players from yesterday cleared.
- Josh Rimer: The Devils put Johan Hedberg on unconditional waivers for the purpose of being bought out.
- Andrew Gross: The Rangers have put Darroll Powe and Aaron Asham on waivers.
- John Vogl: Nathan Gerbe’s buyout is a regular buyout and an not a compliance buyout.
