Steve Ott Re-signs with Stars, Stajan Re-signs with Flames

Cross Steve Ott’s name off the list of players who might get traded by the NHL deadline. According to TSN, Ott has reached an agreement this morning with the Dallas Stars to a 4 year contract extension, worth around $2.95 million a season. The deal will become official later today.Ott has scored 11 goals and added 12 assists in 52 games this season. He is a -13 and has 100 PIMs so far. Over his career he has amassed 778 penalty minutes, 51 goals, and 85 assists in 389 games.
Matt Stajan re-signed with the Calgary Flames for 4 years, at about $3.5 million per season. In 452 career games, Stajan has recorded 89 goals and 138 assists. Stajan had 41 points in 55 games with the Leafs this season before being dealt to the Flames. He has 2 goals and 2 assists in 7 games with the Flames.
