The Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Maple Leafs have a year to figure it out

NHL Watcher: Darren Dreger on the Barn Burner podcast: “I feel like with Matthews and McDavid, it’s pretty obvious isn’t, both the Maple Leafs and Oilers are on the clock right now, and it’s not a 2 year, it’s 1 year (until you have to consider moving them if things are not working, can’t walk them to UFA).”
