The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed center Mikhail Grabovski to a 5 year contract extension.

Michael Traikos via twitter: Grabovski’s agent: “it was a complicated negotiation process.” They had been speaking on/off since October.

Grabovski will now be the Maple Leafs highest paid forward. Phil Kessel has a $5.4 million cap hit.
