The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired Alexei Kovalev from the Ottawa Senators for a 7th round pick.
Pierre LeBrun via twitter: If the Penguins win 1 playoff series and Kovalev plays in half the games, the pick becomes a 6th rounder.
Kovalev, who turns 38 today, hasn’t really lived up to expectations after signed his 2 year deal with the Sens.
