Darren Dreger: Alex Edler’s no-trade kicks in on July 1st and the Canucks are still listening to interest on him. Pierre LeBrun: The Canadiens, Red Wings and Ducks inquired about Edler. The Wings did make an offer and the Canadiens may circle back. Not is close at this point.
Darren Dreger: The Avalanche wanted two of the Panthers top young prospects to move up to the No. 1 spot.
Pierre LeBrun: The Rangers have no cap room and have told teams they are willing to trade the rights to Ryane Clowe.
Pierre LeBrun: The Jets inquired about Blackhawks Dave Bolland before he was traded to the Maple Leafs.
Adrian Dater: The Avs will not trade Paul Stastny.
Pierre LeBrun: The Sabres will continue to look at trading Ryan Miller, but whether it happens this summer or at the deadline remains to be seen.
