Trade Hits: Weber, Carcillo, Niskanen and Maple Leafs

Jason Gregor: Predators Shea Weber can be traded as of yesterday.

John Hoven: The Daniel Carcillo trade to the Kings is finally completed. The Blackhawks get a 2015 conditional draft pick. A 5th round pick if he plays more than 40 games next season, a 6th round pick if he doesn’t.

Seth Rorabaugh: Not a secret that Matt Niskanen could be dealt by the Penguins. He has rebuilt his game, is 26-years old and has one-year left on his deal with a cap hit of $2.3 million. He could be an attractive to a trade suitor.

Terry Koshan: The Maple Leafs are getting closer to the cap. They have lots of defenseman. Is there a trade coming? Dave Poulin on the situation: “I think it’s far too early to tell. It will all play out.”
