The San Jose Sharks have traded Tyler Kennedy to the New York Islanders for a conditional 3rd round draft pick.

The 28-year old Kennedy was the 99th pick in the 4th round of the 2004 draft by the Penguins. He carries a $2.3 million cap hit.
