Trade: Wild Acquire Chris Stewart from Sabres for Pick

The Buffalo Sabres have traded Chris Stewart to the Minnesota Wild for a 2017 2nd round pick.

The Sabres retain 50 percent of Stewart’s salary.

The 27-year old Stewart was drafted 18th overall in the 2006 draft by the Avalanche. The pending UFA carries a $4.15 million cap hit.
