- Bob Stauffer via twitter: The Oilers are down to 5 players for the 1st overall pick according to their head scout Stu MacGregor: Nail Yakupov, Mikhail Grigorenko, Filip Forsberg, Ryan Murray and Griffin Reinhart. Yakupov was in Edmonton yesterday, Grigorenko will meet with them Thursday and Murray will meet with them on Friday.

- Bob McKenzie via twitter: The Capitals gave Tomas Vokoun permission to speak with other teams before July 1st. The Penguins made an offer that other teams wouldn’t, including the Maple Leafs.
