The Vancouver Canucks have traded winger Jannik Hansen to the San Jose Sharks for Nikolay Goldobin and a conditional 4th round pick.
Bob McKenzie: The 4th round pick will becomes a 1st round pick if the Sharks win the Cup. It’s a 4th if they don’t.
The 30-year old Hansen was drafted 287th overall in the ninth round of the 2004 draft by the Canucks. He carries a $2.5 million cap hit and has a year left on his deal.
The 21-year old Goldobin was drafted 27th overall in the 2014 draft by the Sharks.
