Craig Morgan: Arizona Coyotes goaltender Antti Raanta didn’t start last night as he was feeling ill.

Cap Friendly: The Chicago Blackhawks have placed forward Drake Caggiula on the LTIR.

“We currently show Chicago with a projected cap hit of $80,796,166. However, the club is also $702,500 over the 7.5% bonus cushion, which when added on to the projected cap hit puts them at $81,498,666.”

Chicago Blackhawks: Forward Dylan Strome is in concussion protocol.

Dennis Bernstein: The Kings have placed defenseman Alec Martinez on the IR and sent defenseman Derek Forbort (LTIR) to the AHL for a conditioning stint.

St. Louis Blues: Forward Oskar Sundqvist left last night’s game early with an upper-body injury.

Curtis Pashelka: San Jose Sharks coach Pete DeBoer said that forward Tomas Hertl is back on the ice skating. He took some big steps yesterday but wasn’t ready to return just yet.
