Scherbak close

Curtis Zupke: Los Angeles Kings forward Nikita Scherbak said that he is close to being cleared.

Predators injury update

Amar Basi: Nashville Predators defenseman P.K. Subban has missed the past 10 games and there has been no news or timetable on a potential return according to Sportsnet’s John Shannon.

Adam Vingan of the Tennessean: The Predators haven’t let it be known if Kyle Turris has an upper- or lower-body injury and haven’t given to timetable. Video shows he took a hit to the rib area on November 23rd. He’s on the IR.

Filip Forsberg is out for four weeks with an upper-body injury.

Viktor Arvidsson is at least three weeks away from returning from his broken thumb.

Subban has missed the past 10 days with an upper-body injury and he appears to be the closest to returning.
