Western Conference Injury Updates
Ryan S. Clark: Colorado Avalanche forward Tyson Jost left practice early. He missed their last game with an upper-body injury.
Ryan S. Clark: Forward Matt Calvert is out indefinitely and was sent back to Denver.
Jost is day-to-day and is doubtful for tonight.
Goaltender Philipp Grubauer and Pavel Francouz are close to returning.
Ryan S. Clark: Coach Jared Bednar said that Matt Calvert is in concussion protocol but hasn’t been diagnosed with a concussion.
“He hasn’t been feeling well, so, we will see what the docs say when he gets home.”
Sean Shapiro: Dallas Stars forward Mattias Janmark is likely to return to the lineup tonight but it’s not certain.
Forward Roope Hintz and defenseman John Klingberg are getting better. Coach Jim Montgomery is hopeful that one of the two would return on Saturday.
Jason Gregor: Edmonton Oilers defenseman Adam Larsson plans on playing on Thursday: “I’ve been out long enough. It sucks for me, but the guys have played great. I’m excited to play and looking at Thursday,”
Thomas Drance: Vancouver Canucks coach Travis Green said that forward Micheal Ferland is working out off-ice.
Forward Jay Beagle is expected to play tonight.
Forward Brandon Sutter could start practicing during their road trip.
Forward Antoine Roussel has been cleared for contact.
