On the Philadelphia Flyers …
Sam Carchidi: Flyers GM Ron Hextall finally has some money to spend – about $20 million in cap space after they re-sign a couple RFAs.
John Tavares at center would have been nice, but they didn’t get an invite.
The Flyers could use a center, a defenseman, and a winger.
They would also look at the trade market that may include Jeff Skinner, Ryan O’Reilly, and Colton Parayko.
Free agents that could interest Hextall and the Flyers.
Tyler Bozak – center
Ian Cole – defenseman
Calvin de Haan – defenseman
Anthony Duclair – left wing
Michael Grabner – right wing
Mike Green – defenseman
John Moore – defenseman
Riley Nash – center
James Neal – left wing
David Perron – left wing
Paul Stastny – center
James van Riemsdyk – left wing
