Alex Goligoski has been a steady presence on the Stars blueline since being acquired during the 2010-11 season. His four-year, $18.4 million contract is one of three expiring contract from the Stars blueline. GM Jim Nill has stated he’d like to retain Goligoski, but isn’t sure if he’d be able to.
Goligoski is good for putting up just under 40 points in a season, while logging close to 24 minutes per game.
Goligoski recorded 27 even strength points (37 total) this past season in 82 games, with a CF % of 53.7.
He’ll likely be looking to get something close to his current $4.8 million salary.
