The San Jose Sharks have acquired goaltender Martin Jones from the Boston Bruins for a 2016 1st round pick and unsigned prospect Sean Kuraly.

The 25-year old Martin went undrafted and is a RFA. The Bruins acquired Jones at the draft in the Milan Lucic trade just before the draft.

The 22-year old Kuraly was drafted 133rd overall in the 5th round of the 2011 draft by the Sharks.

Elliotte Friedman: The Sharks are working on a new contract for Jones. The Kings were worried that the Sharks would offer sheet Jones.

Jason Brough: The Sharks will go with a goalie tandem of Jones and Alex Stalock with a combined 66 starts.

Dan Rosen: The key now for the Sharks is not overpay Jones.

Pierre LeBrun: Have been told that the Sharks approached the Bruins at the draft this weekend.
