On the Winnipeg Jets …

Ken Wiebe: Forward Patrik Laine could return to the lineup tonight.

Sean Reynolds: Forward Mathieu Perreault won’t in the lineup tonight against the Sharks. He left last night’s game against the Ducks after taking a slash from Corey Perry.

On the Colorado Avalanche …

Mike Chambers: Both Rene Bourque and Tyson Barrie were not able to go last night due to the their lower-body injuries. Barrie has missed their past three games.

Mike Chambers of the Denver Post: Center Matt Duchene missed last night’s game with an illness. Coach Jared Bednar on Duchene.

“Thinking he was going to play and then he sat through our meetings and all that, and he kind of deteriorated as the night went on and we sent him home.”

On the Arizona Coyotes …

Sarah McLellan: Jordan Martinook wasn’t able to go last night. They are hopeful that he’ll practice today.

On the St. Louis Blues …

Jeremy Rutherford: Both Jaden Schwartz and Jay Bouwmeester were given maintenance days yesterday but should be ready for tonight.

On the Dallas Stars …

Mike Heika: Forward Radek Faksa will be out for the next two games with a lower-body injury. Forward Tyler Seguin is questionable due to an illness.

On the Calgary Flames …

Wes Gilbertson: Forward Garnet Hathaway has an upper-body injury and didn’t travel with the team. Unlikely to see him in the lineup before the All-Star break.
