The 27-year old (28 in June) Milan Lucic should probably be a little higher on the list, but due to the likelihood that he’ll be re-signing with the Kings, we’ve moved him down a little.
If he does hit the open market, there has been speculation that he could re-sign with his hometown Canucks – though that may not may be the case anymore due to the state of the Canucks.
Lucic is coming off a three-year, $6 million per season deal, and he’ll likely be looking for the same money. Lucic and the Kings held some talks in back in February and are hopeful for a deal. It will be interesting if, and how, the Kings are able to fit in his salary for next year.
Lucic scored 20 goals and topped 50 point total for the 5th time in his career. 41 of his 55 points this season were at even strength.
