Senators officially sign Tkachuk
Ottawa Senators: The Ottawa Senators have signed 2018 first-round draft pick Brady Tkachuk to a three-year entry-level deal.
Mike Morreale: Tkachuk after signing his entry-level deal with the Senators: “I am very excited to be a Senator. It was a tough choice because I loved my time at Boston University, and I want to thank everyone who has helped me. I’m super excited to get things started.”
Cap Friendly: Tkachuk is now eligible to only play in the NHL, AHL (Belleville) or OHL (London).
Islanders sign Dobson
Andy Graziano: The Islanders have signed 2018 first-round draft pick Noah Dobson to a three-year entry-level deal.
Devils sign an RFA
Cap Friendly: The Devils have signed restricted free agent forward Kevin Rooney to a two-year deal. This upcoming season he’s on a two-way deal, $700,000 in the NHL and $100,000 in the minors. 2019-20 he’ll be on a one-way deal at $700,000.
