- Gene Principe: It’s looking like Ryan Nugent-Hopkins could play as he’s centering Jordan Eberle and Taylor Hall at practice.
- Rich Chere: The Devils are saying that Martin Havlat is day-to-day with lacerations. There was no structural damage.
- Eric Stephens: Ducks Patrick Maroon will be out for four weeks.
- David Pagnotta: Avs Semyon Varlamov is only expected to miss two more games or so, so unless his injury is worse than originally thought, they will likely stay put.
- Aaron Protzline: Blue Jackets defenseman Ryan Murray appears to be out tonight. He was seeing doctors this morning about his knee.
- Chuck Gormley: Capitals Jay Beagle (upper-body) and Tom Wilson (ankle) will travel with the team when they go on their Western Canada road trip next week.
