On the Canadiens …

  • Dave Stubbs of the Montreal Gazette: Carey Price’s injury is “nothing major” according to coach Michel Therrien. He’s receiving treatment and he’ll “take a week off.”

On the Blackhawks …

  • Chris Hine of the Chicago Tribune: Marian Hossa is questionable for tonight according to coach Joel Quenneville with a lower-body injury. Hossa didn’t practice yesterday. The injury is not thought to be serious.
  • Blackhawks defenseman Michal Rozsival is still working on coming back from his fractured left ankle. It’s looking like Rozsival will be out for at least another week. Quenneville said he’s “very doubtful” for any games this week.
  • Duncan Keith was put on the IR two weeks ago after having surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. Recovery time was expected to be four to six weeks. He’s not ready to start skating yet.

On the Stars …

  • Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News: The Stars left on a four game road trip yesterday with only 12 forwards as Patrick Eaves (lower-body), Curtis McKenzie (lower-body) and Travis Moen (upper-body) have been slow healing and remain out. Coach Lindy Ruff doesn’t expect to have any extra forwards for their road trip.

“Short term, none are available,” Ruff said. “I was hoping they’d progress a little quicker, but none of them will make the trip. There’s a chance maybe somebody can join us after the first couple of games, but it’s easier for them to rehab and do their skating here.”

On the Kings …

  • Rich Hammond of the OC Register: Kings defenseman Christian Ehrhoff suffered two concussions last year, left Saturday’s game after appearing to hit his head off the glass after a taking a hit from Mike Ribeiro. Ehrhoff was able to return to practice yesterday.

“A little stiff neck, but other than that it’s pretty good,” Ehrhoff said after practice. “It’s always scary, those things. The first little while, you don’t really know where it’s going, but later in the night it seemed that it wasn’t something too bad.”

On the Lightning …

  • Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times: Forward Cedric Paquette could return to the Lightning’s lineup by the end of their road trip.
  • Jonathan Drouin isn’t sure if he’ll be able to return during the trip from his lower-body injury.

“It’s hard to tell, I don’t know,” Drouin said. “We’ll see. It’s day to day.”

On the Jets …

  • Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun: Jets forward Andrew Copp is listed as day-to-day with an undisclosed injury. Copp was a late scratch for yesterday’s game. He was injured during their game on Saturday.
