“This injury is never four weeks for a goalie. It’s six to eight weeks.”

  • Erik Erlendsson: Lightning’s Ondrej Palat is expected to return tonight.
  • Arthur Staple: Islanders Mikhail Grabovski and Lubomir Visnovsky could be ready next week. Defenseman Nick Leddy is close and Jaroslav Halak is ready to return.

  • Aaron Portzline: Blue Jackets Ryan Murray missed last night’s game with a lower-body injury.
