  • Tim Panaccio of CSN Philly: Flyers goalie Steve Mason was injured during practice yesterday.

    “Steve Mason has an upper-body injury and is out for the weekend,” general manager Ron Hextall said. “We will have an update on Monday.”

  • Marc Antoine Godin: Canadiens Max Pacioretty is day-to-day, and his status for today is uncertain.
  • Ansar Khan: Red Wings Ken Holland said that Jimmy Howard is day-to-day. Injury doesn’t appear to be serious. They did call up Tom McCollum.
  • Ken Wiebe: Jets coach Paul Maurice said that Dustin Byfuglien took a stick late in the game, thinks that he should be okay, but they won’t know for sure until today.
  • Eric Stephens: Ducks Hampus Lindholm is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
  • Bruce Garrioch: Senators Chris Neil is four to six weeks away from returning.
  • David Alter: Maple Leafs Leo Komarov skated for about 25 minutes before practice.
