On the Penguins …

  • Dave Molinari: Pascal Dupuis missed last night’s game as he was taken to hospital as a precaution. The Penguins said that he was experiencing symptoms that “may or may not” be related to his previous blood clot issues.

On the Wild …

  • Michael Russo of Star Tribune: Coach Mike Yeo said that Zach Parise’s right injury won’t keep him out for months.

“I don’t think it’s going to be multiple weeks, I don’t think it’s going to be months. And I’m not a doctor,” Yeo said.

Parise had an MRI yesterday and will be out for at least the next couple games. After that Yeo said he doesn’t

“really have much idea going forward after that. We have to wait to hear. I can say it’s not going to be something that’s month-to-month. I shouldn’t guarantee that, but that’s the word that I’ve got so far.”

  • Michael Russo: Nate Prosser has a back issue and there is no timeframe for his return.

On the Red Wings …

  • Ansar Khan: Coach Jeff Blashill said that Landon Ferraro (lower-body) is probably day-to-day and doesn’t expect him to play on Sunday.

On the Stars …

  • Mike Heika: Coach Lindy Ruff expects Antoine Roussel (upper-body) to play on Sunday.

On the Canucks …

  • TSN 1040: GM Jim Benning said that Jacob Markstrom will likely join the team on Monday in Columbus.

On the Blues …

  • Lou Korac: Brian Elliott is fine and Steve Ott is day-to-day.

On the Capitals …

  • Isabelle Khurshudyan: Coach Barry Trotz said that Stanislav Galiev’s conditioning stint will be the full two-weeks.

Penguins forward Sergei Plotnikov is real lucky he wasn’t seriously injured
