- Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post Dispatch: Jori Lehtera was high sticked in the mouth, then left the game later in the first after taking a Brandon Saad high stick.
“We’re not sure,” Blues coach Ken Hitchcock said. “We’ll evaluate him and tell you (Wednesday).”
David Backes said the stick was to the throat area.
“It was stick in the throat. Hopefully he’ll be all right and we won’t be missing another high-end forward. Whatever happens, we’ve got to move forward. We’ve got another tough game Thursday.”
Rookie defenseman Colton Parayko missed last night’s game with a lower-body injury.
