- Chip Alexander: Hurricanes Jordan Staal is out of the boot but is not skating yet. Head coach Bill Peters said that he’s “slightly ahead of schedule” on his rehab, but they need to be patient.
- Mike Chambers: Avs Jamie McGinn might have to have season-ending back surgery.
- Colorado Avalanche: Defenseman Brad Stuart is projected to return mid-December.
- Adrian Dater: Avs John Mitchell and Ben Street should be seven to 10 days away. Marc-Andre Cliche is two weeks away.
- Harvey Fialkov: Panthers Roberto Luongo is traveling with the team and could return against the Blue Jackets or Red Wings.
- Boston Bruins: David Krejci and Zdeno Chara are not traveling with the team. Remaining in Boston to rehab.
- Eric Stephens: Ducks Ben Lovejoy (broken finger) is skating and is allowed to stick handle. He is not allowed to pass or shoot yet. He’s likely two to three weeks away.
