Frank Servalli of the Philadelphia Daily News: Flyers Wayne Simmonds and Andrew MacDonald are done for the season after suffering fractures. Simmonds suffered a left leg injury and MacDonald was hit in the right hand with a shot.

Dave Isaac: The Flyers say that Shayne Gostisbehere is done for the season, as they feared for a couple weeks.
Jeremy Rutherford: The Blues believed that both Kevin Shattenkirk and Carl Gunnarsson will be able to play on Saturday.
Ansar Khan: Red Wings Erik Cole (upper-body) will miss at least the next three games. Niklas Kronwall (lower-body) and Pavel Datsyuk (lower-body) could play tonight according to GM Ken Holland.
Joanne Ireland: Oilers Mark Fayne left last night’s game with a shoulder injury.
Elliott Pap: Canucks coach Willie Desjardin on Brad Richardson (ankle): “He can only play when he’s ready. He’s close and hopefully we’ll see him pretty soon.” Brad Richards: “You’re not back to square one, but it’s a setback and you have to sit again. So it sucks.”
Vancouver Canucks: Desjardins thinks that Jannik Hansen and Alex Burrows will be able to go tonight. Adam Clendening has been sent to the AHL.
